I had a problem with running an old curses based program in xterm on the Red Hat 7.2 distro, it segfaults. (the program runs fine on 6.0) and find that it runs fine if I use the xterm.termcap from /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/etc for the xterm entry in the termcap database instead of the default termcap entry that comes on the Red Hat 7.2 distro. XFree86 version 4.10 and xterm -version XFree86 4.0.3(156). My question is should I use the xterm.termcap and if so are there other issues with the Red Hat xterm or XFree86 defaults that should be changed.
