I have gone both ways; removed the older ones and reinstalled the new ones. I ended
up wiping out and reinstalling.
For some reason, some of the programs require x.1.1 version of libraries.

On the other hand, I clean installed the 2.2.2 from the 4.5 cdrom without a hitch and
everything is working, video, colors, mouse, mouse wheel, sound, cdrecord, netscape
with flash plugin, even the toaster I had in the garage! with one note though; All run
well when logged in as root. As a user, get broken:0.0 which I know I have to read up
on Xwrapper; Xfree86-4.0.

Please let me know if any experience with xwrapper and how to set it up so that the
users can also use the machine using startx and their local accounts.

Regards,
Patrick Soltani.

Subject: pkg_info | grep -i kde

When I ran "pkg_info | grep -i kde" I see what seems to be an older, unused
version of KDE and its libraries. Should I pkg_del any of these, or
pkg_del them all and install KDE cleanly? k-Thanks k-indly. :)
