Where did you get the Utah-glx drivers? I'd heard about them but thought
that they were not available. This is great news that someone is working
on it.
I would suggest that you should try the Xpert list however, your
more likely to get answers to low-level programming questions there. Are
you aware of the existence of http://www.probo.com/timr/savage40.html and
its associated mailing list? The maintainer T. Roberts may be the most
knowledgable person on this topic.
