There is a single driver for all SiS chips.
For the latest version, have a look at:

Please respond
to newbie
Apparently it was a hardware problem. I substituted an AGP SiS 305 card,
redid xf86config, and now it runs fine.
I have an SiS 305 but I am using the lesser SiS 6326 driver. Does any one
know
if there is a driver for SiS 305 and what it is called?
Thanks for all the replies.
