Hi all!
I'm trying to resolve some problems and errors I'm having with X. When I
run Gnome as root I get the following errors:
SESSION_MANAGER=local/localhost.localdomain:/tmp/.ICE-unix/700
Xlib: extension "XINERAMA" missing on display
":0.0".

0

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
xscreensaver: Can't open display: :0
xscreensaver: initial effective uid/gid was root/root
(0/0)
xscreensaver: running as nobody/nobody (99/99)
xscreensaver: Errors at startup are usually
authorization problems.
Did you read the manual and the FAQ?
Specifically,
the parts of the manual that talk about
XAUTH, XDM,
and root logins?

When I issue the command xdpyinfo It yields the following result:
Unable to open display "".
------
I've been trying to solve this for a while...any one got a clue?
