I'm using mandrake 8.1 with xfree 4.1.0(-17mdk?)
I have an ATI Radeon 64 with a Compaq SVGA monitor (I'm just using the
monitor [which I got for free]until I can afford a new one.)
when I change my resolution (for the X server) it tells me that it changed
and mandrake control center says that its changed but it hasn't changed. it
just stays 800x600.
I have noticed that pretty much all ATI ppl have been told to upgrade to 4.2
but I'm having issues with the upgrade process. is there anything I can do
to fix this w/o upgrading?
