Hi,
I've successfully compiled and configured XFree86 4.2.0 in my Linux box (no distro,
it's based off LinuxFromScratch.org) and it all went sucessfully upon starting X.
However, when I try to kill X with Ctrl+Alt+Backspace OR switch to a different tty via
alt+Fx the system hangs showing a completely garbled (sp?) screen. From then on, I can
only hit the reboot button..
It's actually weird since /var/log/XFree86.0.log doesn't prove helpful.
Any ideas? It'd be much appreciated.
