Hello , I'm having the following problem: When I try to start the X server with startx , I get the error :
Authentication failed - cannot start X server.Perhaps you do not have console ownership?giving up. xinit: Connection refused (errno 2) unable to connect to X server xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error. Could you please send me the way to solve the problem ? I have RedHat Linux 7.0 running on a x86 machine. The same happens with the root user and with another users.
