[Newbie]installing

Hi,   I have installed Xfree86 42. Ihave answer Yes to all. I have mandrake 82. After rebooting, the KDE show like UNIX. In mode shell, I have run "Xfree86 -configure". This ask me for a lib Glide. why ????   Thanks for helping
