New install of slack 8.1 w/ XFree 4.2 The AGP video card is marked as S3 LC2X. I got this box from someone else and don't know exactly what type of card that is (I assume S3 Trio 3D/2X) and will attempt to use XF86_SVGA with the s3v driver.
But I can't even get that far. Whenever I run: XFree86 -configure I get: Bus Error and I'm back to the prompt. I've tried re-installing everything in the x package, but it doesn't change anything.
