a very-very newcomer to Linux question: I just installed Linux RedHat 7.3 on a Compaq Evo N600c laptop. This laptop is built with a ATI Radeon Mobility M6 video card. Now, when I use only the built-in TFT display, it works, but when connecting an external CRT, then the TFT goes weird and I loose it, even if I unplug the CRT (I have to reboot then to recover the TFT). This is not a hardware stuff since all works OK under Windows. I do not need to have different resolution or this kind of fancy stuff, but I do need this double display. How could I have it to work ? In addition, the "Fn+F4" button which commutes display modes on this laptop are not recognised. Is there any way to get these fixed? Thank you for either give me the answer or link me to it!
