Hi, I have just installed RH 7.3 on my pc with S3 Trio64V2, and apparently the XF86Config file is in 3.3.x syntax, while the X running is version 4.2.0 ...
startx fails with the message that he cannot find the screen. Will XFree86 -configure help? Going to try that tonight. Does anyone have another solution or the reason why this happened? Does it have to do with the option of installing "X system" of "classical X system" when installing 7.3 as server? If not, does anyone know why this option is there?
