Is there a way to set a normal system to launch X in a gray scale environment? I've a friend who prefers this interface who I promised to help out. How do I do this with a standard color monitor and Xfree drivers? I've been reading what I can find regarding color depths and such, but I'm just not familiar enough with the vocabulary yet to discern what I need.
