Hi Bill I have the GeForce 4 working with the closed source driver from NVIDIA, install it using rpm and it's no problem at all. If using Xconfigurator edits the Cards file in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11, find the line for GeForce 4 card and edit the default driver from "vesa" to "nvidia" and Xconfigurator will pick the NVIDIA driver as the default.
