My Viewsonic GS790 monitor is shutting off randomly (after anywhere from a few minutes to a few days of use) with error "H/V Moire Out of Range." I called Viewsonic tech support, and their rep suggest it is a problem with either my video/monitor driver or their configuration. I have not defined any modelines in XF86Config-4, so it should be using the built-in VESA modes, right?
