Hello, I run a Umax S900 (Umax Pulsar in Europe)-Macintosh-clone with Mandrake Linux PPC 8.2 .
XFree 4.2.0 recognizes my ATI Radeon-card (checked with X -probeonly) as ATI Radeon QD (AGP) rev.0; chip-ID 0x5144. But this is a failure: It is an ATI Radeon-PCI-Card (the first Radeon card, build for Mac with 32MB Video RAM and the original Radeon-chip), not an AGP-card!!! The second thing is, that XFree cannot access the card Bios. How can I get this card working under XFree 4.2.0? Has anyone an idea? How can I force XFree to recognize that the Radeon is an PCI-card?
