Hi Ian, I have one of those and it works fine. I'm running Slackware 8.0 on a Celeron 333, it's a bit slow in X windows, but it works and doesn't need a reboot every 5 minutes! I can't remember exactly which version of XFee86 I'm running, but it's a reasonably up to date version. I can check if you like.
