activity: remove and replace program dependence on Exceed with Xfree
environment: Win2K, MSDevStudio
downloaded/extracted xfree86 binaries,
thought all I'd need to do is re-link with the libraries,
then run the program,
and, then, instead of launching Exceed,
the program would launch XFree86
has anyone done this before for Win2K using MSDevStudio?
