Hello!
I am running a Dell Latitude C600 laptop with a Sharp TFT display.
The graphics card is an ATI Mobility M3. I've configured the system
with Mandrake, Red Hat, and Gentoo. While all of them will configure
properly and recognize the card, the X server always ends with the
message "No valid modes found" which causes the X server to say "No
valid screens found." Is this a known issue? Does anyone know how to
make this work?
Incidentally, the screen claims it is only 1024x768 but M$ can make it
run at 1280x1024. Can X?
