[Newbie]help -About Xconfig

ive made all teh steps to install Xfree86 4.2.0 , all seem to work , i mean
i didnt get any error message while intalling , ive configure my xserver also
still no error and when i start the x server it open an windows 3.1 interface
look like...

what i did wrong ?
