I installed the gentoo Kernel last night. Linux is up and running, but when I used portage, installed XFree86, and sniffed my hardware....after running a test with the command 'XFree86' , my system gives me garbage pixels and crashes.   I checked the xf86config file, the settings seem to be ok.   Can someone help ?   thx in advance markus
