[Newbie]sync rate problem

hi, i can't get my monitor's sync rates right. i put them in manually and they are still out of range. i have a gateway ev500 and the rates are Horizontal: 30-69, and Vertical: 50-120. here are 2 files that ernie shroder said could help someone who can help me out with this problem. thanks.
