HB=> I guess you mean Linux locally to interface remotely to a MS system.

HB=> For MS file sharing you can use unix (Linux) samba.
Samba is written for unix to interface to MS file sharing.
HB=> For printing, just set it up in printcap as a remote printer. You
have to ensure, though, you present printing data compatible
with the printer. Proper filters. Mostly Post Script.
Both facilities require that you are allowed as a user at the MS facility.
