SV: [Newbie] fixed startx fails as non root .

Hi, 
just posting incase anyone else has this problem. I was able to correct this by 
editing the /etc/ld.so.conf, and adding the /usr/X11R6/lib directory.
I then executed /sbin/ldconfig and everything worked as it should.

        Hi,
        I am having som problems with my xserver installation. As root everything 
works as it should but when I try to run as a non root user I get the following 
message:
         
        /usr/X11R/lib/X11/xkb/xkbcomp: error while loading shared libraries: 
libXext.so.6:  cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
         
        The file is there libXext.so.6 is there and in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
         
        Am I missing something really obvious?
