I've been mapping and editing with JOSM for a few months now, but only recently noticed the option to view authors. I notice that everything that I have edited in the past is shown as the work of an anonymous user. How do I set JOSM to show my future work as my own? The options is in your account page, go to this URL inserting your display name in the right place (your display name is not the same as your email address):
http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/<displayname>/accountI think there's a button at the bottom saying "Make my edits public forever!" or words to that effect, click that and everybody will know what you've done, this will also work retroactively so will start displaying your username for old stuff as well.
