Thanks. I figured it was something like that. But I have
to say I find Java very confusing to learn about. I used
to work some with Forth and compatibility between different
types of Forth was a running joke. They used to say, "If
you seen one Forth, you seen one Forth". It seems to be a
bit like that with Java in that there are many splinters
and variations on a theme. Learning about Java seems to be
a bit like learning to run during an earthquake.
So I assume that when you say "jre 1.5" you mean this is a
specific revision of the jre spec, not a particular
revision of an implementation of a jre, right?
