OK, I'm not one of the people working on the software so I can't comment on whether it's likely for anyone to produce a program to do that for you. For most of the world there isn't enough data to do averaging, though. The only other suggestion I have is that just uploading the raw gps data to osm (via the web, not josm) is potentially useful as other people (or maybe software in the future) might be able to use it. If you've done that already, I'd be curious to see what it looks like if you can give a lat/long somewhere in the area...
