Gabriel, Yes I meant OSM XML (the stuff you get from http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.5/map?). It seems weird to have to download an application (or use Flash) just to upload a few nodes, plus I couldn't get JOSM nor Merkaartor to compile on my machine. Is there a direct upload interface? I looked at some recent GPX tracks (http://www.openstreetmap.org/traces) and they are in XML format, but I wasn't sure if I could/should upload nodes with names, tags, etc. Is there an easy way to upload nodes that come public-domain-but-not-GPS sources? If not, will someone w/ JOSM (or whatever) volunteer to upload these for me (if yes, just let me know what format you'd like them in, thanks!)? -- We're just a Bunch Of Regular Guys, a collective group that's trying to understand and assimilate technology.
