according to talk-de, the maps do not show on the new HCx devices. It appears that it has to do with a change in one of the mkgmap versions as older maps still work. If someone with such a device could fiddle out which version of mkgmap broke the map display and would inform Steve Ratcliffe it would be helpful, I guess.
