I am currently using an openmoko Freerunner phone with TangoGPS to both show me where I am (with OSM cartography) and record tracks (for later OSM updating).
This has advantages but also issues (screen is rather small and quite fragile); so I would like to know if there are other GPSes in use here, that would keep these three features: - show position on OSM maps (ideally: using TangoGPS) - record tracks - fit in pocket (even if maybe a "larger" pocket ;-) I must say the Freerunner additionally is open-source, which is definitely satisfactory and allows to expect many evolutions, but I am nearing my 50s and the ultraprecise pixels on its screen often are an issue for me (go read street names when the resolution is three times thinner than the one on your average computer...) Thank you for any advice! Hervé -- Hervé S.
