I asked on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list if this was a known problem
or not. Apparently it is, is an old problem and has been fixed.
Requesting a rerender of the affected tile(s) should resolve it.

If the problem has only recently appeared then someone is probably
still running an out-of-date client.

Taking the URL from the original message:
http://openstreetmap.org/?lat=30.86077&lon=75.86153&zoom=17&layers=0
B00FTF
add tah. at the front, add Browse/slippy/ before the ?, lose the
layers bit, and change the zoom level to 12 to get
http://tah.openstreetmap.org/Browse/slippy/?lat=30.86077&lon=75.8615
3&zoom=12
and you should be able to recognise the area that needs
re-rendering. If you can't use zoom level 17 and zoom out to find
the relevant tile to rerender at level 12.

I just tried and it already was being rerendered so the problem
should be gone soon, at least in the area mentioned above. Can't
speak for the Italy locations.
