Sorry, I'm struggling with this again. Part of a 10 node way is duplicated by a 3 node way. I middle click on the duplicated section and up comes a dialog with the two ways listed. Keeping the middle button down (otherwise the dialog disappears), I move the mouse pointer until the 3 node way is highlighted in blue and left click. I then release the middle button and the dialog disappears. However, nothing is highlighted for me to delete. I've tried in zoom, select and delete modes but I can't anything to work correctly.
