If there is no bridge or ford, I would suggest that there is nothing that 
should be marked on the map. If the path crosses over the stream, it should be 
obvious that the stream has to be crossed, but that it is normally possible. I 
suppose you could tag the node shared by both with something that you feel 
reflects the situation, but I can't imagine what a renderer would do with it.
