I'm trying to get some data from an old .osm file back into OpenStreetMap, which means recreating some of the objects. If I've got the old .osm file loaded as one layer in JOSM and the current OSM data in another layer, what's the best way in JOSM to merge the selected objects into the 'live' layer?
