If you are a bit of a geek, maybe a Nokia N810 would be a good choice. There are several kewl open source apps available: http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/maemo-mapper/ http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/osm2go/ http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/gpxview/ http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/navit/ Maemo Mapper is an excellent application, even providing turn-by-turn-directions (never used it BTW, as I use it on a bike). Caveat: Routes are caclulated on the server side beforehand, no live routing. Adding waypoints currently is broken. [ADV] Some info on my blog: http://www.christeck.de/wp/?s=n810 HTH. Welcome to the world of OSM addicts, BTW ;-) . Cheers, ce _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
