Linux is more developer-friendly, which means that you'll see more capable programs on Linux sooner. BUT precisely because it *is* developer-friendly, you'll see less attention paid to usability issues. BUT if you're writing a program for an embedded device, you have full control over the user experience, so you can control the usability. -- Russ Nelson - http://community.cloudmade.com/blog - http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/User:RussNelson [email protected] - Twitter: Russ_OSM - http://openstreetmap.org/user/RussNelson _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
