The term Village Green in Britain is one of Its protection, against building and change of use. Any piece of green land that has been used for Community use for the 20 years can be registered with the local council and be considered to be given this status. Common land and Village Green Status in the Uk is the same its more a factor of size. (I think) Peter (I'm quite happy to be told otherwise however) _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
