I am currently waypointing speed limit signs in my local area and entering them
and maxspeed values for highways into JOSM. I wondered if there was a facility
anywhere to thematically map OSM so that, for example, differing speed limit
values could be displayed, which would allow one to check an area. I am aware
and have made use of CloudMade, Freemap and ito's osm mapper, all of which are
useful in their respective ways. I am probably hoping for too much that what I
now seek already exists, because it would seem to require an interactive
application to query one's requirements. I, certainly, am not clever enough
to be able to do that. It's just a thought...
