Thanks Dave, yes I'm using width but not the boat option and that makes sense.
Actually I've also used the drain for the smaller purely irrigation stuff, too, but you have to be careful because it sometimes looks more accurate on the render but isn't in reality. These features are quite important out here because even the smallest one of the things - and there are thousands in rural areas - mean the difference between being able to get through some place on a bike or nots.
