I am fairly new to OSM and so far have just cycled around some of the grid squares of Milton Keynes and added them to the map.
I then download a readymade file of the UK for use with my Garmin Edge 705. In Feb I am cycling across Central America and wondered how easy it would be to get the relevant parts of North East Panama , Costa Rica and South West Nicaragua onto a file that my Garmin Edge 705 would understand. I use Windows O/S if that makes a difference to the tools available.
