I last looked at openstreetmap years ago and have forgotten all I knew then. I have downloaded the latest version of JOSM and have managed to get the data for my area with the intention of adding street names. I have found that a lot of the roads shown as a way are in fact 2 or more different roads so I need to break them where the name changes so I can add the correct names, but can't work out how to do that.
How can I break the road sections so I can add the names in either JOSM or Potlatch? John
