Hi Ishtiaque > How to access the internal memories and the SD card separately? We are using > gpslabel, but we still are not betting the name of the waypoints after > connecting to the computer. What to do?
SD card can be used by connecting your GPS in "Mass Storage Mode", where you see your SD card mouted as an external storage. You can simply copy the GPX file to your local machine, and it contains your trackpoints. In order to access internal memory / waypoints, connect your device in the other mode (I do not remember the name right now, and don't have GPS with me at present), and run gpsbabel command: gpsbabel -w -i garmin -o gpx -F waypoints_file_name.gpx This should do the trick. By the way, are you guys on Windows or Linux? regards, Nishant _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
