Thanks, this answers my question. Are there any OpenStreetMap APIs (internal not like CloudMade) which provide services like CloudMade, Geocoding / Routing / Directions/ ... ?

Yes. Changes made to the OpenStreetMap database are available to other mappers immediately. Other services, outside of the OpenStreetMap database, will consume and process updates from OpenStreetMap on a schedule that they determine. Some services process updates from OpenStreetMap within minutes or hours. Other services process updates from OpenStreetMap within days or weeks. To find the schedule used by a specific service you should ask them. _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
