If you look hard enough, you'll find whole residential areas with every building outline entered. I ran into a place like that a couple years ago. It just shows that some people really have a lot of attention to detail, and patience. OSM is a collaborative project where you can enter as much detail as you want. A user in my local area entered lot outlines and building outlines in what is presumably is their neighborhood. http://osm.org/go/WPoq5qQK As you can see however, the attention to detail was seriously lacking. Each lot is unique, with gaps between the lots, rather than sharing a common border, and the building outlines are rarely even close to where they should be. Every time I look at this, it irks me because of the lack of accuracy. One day I will get in there and correct it, but I haven't hit that threshold yet. -- James VE6SRV _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
