I have added a bookshop and a social_centre on the map here, next to
Uncle Sam's Bistro and Restaurant:

However, neither of them show up on the actual map on OSM. It's strange,
as shop=books even has a dedicated icon in the Potlatch2 - which would
seem to suggest it is a "proper" tag. Anybody knows why it doesn't show
on the map?
As to amenity=social_centre - is it the sort of thing that has to go
through some process until it gets approved and starts showing up on
rendered maps? Can I use another tag instead which will show (or
combination of tags?) Even if it shows as a name, without an icon, it
would still be useful to those looking for it.
