Stuart,
i downloaded gmplayer using apt-repository.
i'm starting it in a shell window by typing gmplayer
and i'm trying to play my dvd by rightclicking and selecting open and then play dvd.
i actually figure out what my -vo problem was. i just needed to select the right video output driver. i needed to select xll as my output driver. thanks for the help.
Theresa
