Read DOCS/en/video.html from the source tree for info on this. I recommend trying the 
command-line interface first, and once you have that working, using the GUI (although 
you may never go back after the command line :-)

For now, try ``mplayer -vo xv''. If that doesn't work, get the source and compile it 
yourself, then try again.
