Josh, you can find the iso's on the UUG ftp site. I don't hav the url handy
but you can find it by going to the UUG home page and finding the FTP site
link on the left side of the page. You'll find the iso's in
/pub/iso/RedHat9.0/ I'm had better luck with the UUG ftp site the Redhats
download center, faster too. Also, if you are using IE to download and are
working behind and firewall or dsl router, maybe try this for cable modem
too, go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced and check "Enable Passive FTP
for Firewall /DSL compatibility". With this unchecked, you will have a
miserable time staying connected for a sufficient amount of time to download
a single iso image from any ftp site if you are working behind some kind of
firewall or DSL router.
It was annoucned in one of my classes last semester that a person could go
somewhere in the CS building to buy a set of CD's for cost of the CD's.
Maybe try that too, especially if you are using 56k connection.

Good Luck
Thane

Subject: [newbies] cd's for redhat 9

Hi.

I have had difficulty downloading rh 9 from the redhat home page. Does
the UUG have cd's available for distribution?

Thanks,
