[newbies] Internet access behind a router

Hopefully someone can help me here, I had Redhat 8 installed on my PC together with Windows ME several months ago, and haven't had a problem until now.

I have access to a router here in the apartment that has an internet cable connection. The other day I booted Windows ME for the first time in a long while, and ever since I cannot get Linux to see the network. Windows ME, on the other hand, can use the network fine and can get to the internet.

Any help or ideas would be great,
