I need some help translating /var/log/messages errors to maybe find the cause 
of kernel panics.  They happen randomly at least every couple days.  It is 
just getting frustrating and instead of complaining, I want to solve the 
problem and keep learning linux.

Here are lines that looked questionable to me:

Redundant entry in serial pci_table.  Please send the output of
